Grieve Future, Grieve.

HERE

I don’t know what a broken heart feels like. Or maybe I do but because I feel it too often, I am incapable to differentiate it from other mere feelings of sadness or hurting. But how can sadness be just ‘mere’? Whenever I’m sad I long for an overwhelming compassion and words that are beyond the amorous movies, beyond this mortal earth. Perhaps that’s what adds to the tragedy, wanting the things I can’t have. Expectation has been my biggest let-down.

I’m afraid of the very same things that I want. Because I don’t know if it is right to want them. Happiness is best if shared, they say. But how about it when there’s nobody to share it with?

Loving someone just got uglier.

  2. Shakespeare said the root of all heartache is expectation and I think your right
i can relate to 'I’m afraid of the very same things that I want. Because I don’t know if it is right to want them.'
maybe not in the same way as you but it scares the shit outta me because will anything be enough and will anything make me happy
uncertainty can be good or bad you need to find the good one and ditch the bad thats making you fear a broken heart

  4. This post really hits home for me as well. That damned expectation of other people will *always* let you down. It's the greatest irony of love.

  11. Yes, you are right. Sadness is never 'mere' - but we all learn to manage our expectations after a while.

  12. "Happiness is best if shared, they say. But how about it when there’s nobody to share it with?" -- It's okay to be happy and more so, it's okay to be selfish with your happiness.

  13. Some desires are different. They might seem wrong to some, to some unfair. I like to believe if it's in the heart, its worth the take.

    Take Care.
